L'Isola che non c'è - Marina di San Nicola



	RICH ARCHEOLOGICAL SITE from roman period, it was choosen as an ideal environment for holidays by ancient romans who built their villas to enjoy the sea, being close to the Capital. Today you can visit the remains of a marvelous roman villa close to the beach. Marina di San Nicola: all the land of this very charming small village, few kilometres from Rome City Centre, belonged to Princes Odescalchi family, the owners of the marvelous castle you can see from the beach, and the owners of the Castels of S. Severa, Santa Marinella and Bracciano Lake. About 40 years ago, the Prince Livio Odescalchi proposed to his friends to buy parts of the land to built their sea villas and to form with his new villa by the sea, a private village of friends.
The GARDEN The house is surrounded by a fully equipped garden, with garden fornitures, a wooden, eveneng lighted front porch with table and chairs to enjoy outdoor meals, lemon trees, flowers, fruit trees. The Entrance From a wooden gate you get in the back rear of the garden where there is a first entrance. Here there is a wooden small porch to keep bicycles or to dry laundry during rainy days.
	During the years most of the original owners have been changed, but the peculiar private characteristic of the village is always the same. Today Marina di San Nicola is very pleasant all year long: clean, very well served by buses to Ladispoli or Rome, with an accurate private management that guarantee all services such as chemist's, doctors, beach guards, bars, restaurants, shops, groceries, supermarkets, post office, tennis courts, sailing clubs, private served lidos, a saturday market etc. For more infos you can consult the MAP of the village and in your home you will find a book on village services.

	L'ISOLA CHE NON C'E' Very comfortable and fully equipped, suitable for children and enderly cause of no steps (it is all on ground floor), it is formed by two entrances that give to a large, full of light living and dining room. The living corner has a sofa and two armchairs, TV, fireplaces, telephone.The first entrance is from the rear front where there is the gate, the second gives directly to the front part of the garden. Both doors have a security gate: it is possible to leave the house with the door windows open and the gate closed. Nobody will have the possibility to get in in your absence. All the windows in the house have this security gates, so you have the possibility of sleeping windows open during the night. Through the living you acheive to the kitchenette and to a aisle to the night part of the house. The Kitchenette is small but fully equipped: hob with 4 fires, a big fridge/freezer, gas oven, dish-washer. There is one large bedroom with a king size bed, and another bedroom with twin beds. The bathroom is large and comfortable, with washing machine, bidet, and a very spacious shower.
